Child Safety Standards

OneMessage is an adults-only dating app. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), grooming, and any sexualisation of minors.
Our standards
- 18+ only. Every user must enter their date of birth at sign-up, and people under 18 can't create an account. Users can't change their date of birth afterwards.
- Prohibited content. Our Terms of Use prohibit any content or behaviour that sexualises, exploits or endangers children, and any attempt to contact minors.
- Limited contact by design. Users can send each person only one message until that person accepts a chat, which limits unsolicited contact.
- Enforcement. When we find CSAE content or behaviour, we remove it, permanently ban the account, and report it to the relevant authorities, as required by law.
- Underage users. If we learn that a user is under 18, we delete their account.
How to report
- In the app: open the chat with the person, tap the ••• menu, then choose Report → Underage or Inappropriate messages. You can also block them from the same menu.
- By email: hello@getonemessage.com, with the person's name and what happened. Don't send us the images themselves.
- If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local police first.
Compliance
We comply with applicable child safety laws, and we report confirmed child sexual abuse material to the relevant national or regional authorities.
